a romantic retreat close to the castle
helpful staff easy access variety of options
i found the staff helpful and friendly always ready to assist. the location allowed easy access to major attractions, especially the castle. i liked the delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options available each morning.
the walk to the hotel involved a steep hill, this could be challenging for some guests. perhaps it is advisable to use public transport or taxis.

rude receptionist old-fashioned key
the breakfast had a decent variety of options.
the receptionist was quite rude upon arrival she behaved as if she were a customs officer when asking for a visa. the behavior was unacceptable instead of a warm welcome, i was faced with rude behavior and it spoiled the mood. also, the room keys are old-fashioned big chunky metal keys

I found the hotel clean. the location is excellent. It is a short walk to attractions. the breakfast offered a good variety of options, including fresh fruit.
The room i stayed in felt quite small. the soundproofing was not great. I heard noise from other rooms. also, i noticed there were no complimentary water bottles provided.

warm welcome delicious breakfast
I found the breakfast included many varieties. The restaurant meals tasted good too. the receptionist gave me access to my room before check-in time. she also gave me a glass of champagne, so sweet!

early check-in free drinks voucher modern design rude receptionist visa request poor attitude
i checked in early around midday during the off-season. a voucher was offered for complimentary drinks at the hotel restaurant. the hotel decor and modern design caught my eye. the castle was just a brief walk away, less than five minutes. it provided amazing city views right from the room, positioned beautifully at the hill's peak.
the receptionist's behavior upon arrival was unwelcoming! my passport was handled rudely. also, they requested a visa even after i informed them i didn't require one. instead of assistance. i faced accusations and a spoiled mood.

My room was clean and modern. I had a fine view from the window. Breakfast offered quality loose-leaf teas, which pleased me greatly. I found the location ideal, close to key sites and offering local bars and restaurants (perfect for evening strolls).
The steep hill presents a challenge if you have mobility issues or are not prepared for the climb.
